Finding a landlord you trust in Malta

Since the beginning, demand for rental properties has been on the rise on the Maltese Islands season after season, offering a warm hospitality for people from all over the planet!

Now in 2014, we are looking at a large proportion of Maltese Real Estate being leased out to Maltese and foreigners alike.

The trend for Maltese people to rent is growing especially with couples looking to rent before buying however there is still an extreme prejudice against Maltese people renting property especially from the landlords' side.
This is understandable however due to the simple fact that in the old days, a tenant would have much more rights AGAINST the owner of the property (Landlord) when it comes to civil cases such as eviction due to late or no payments for example.

TODAY the environment and community in Malta has changed for the better although still baby steps, nowadays if you yourself are a landlord and have been in a 'sticky' situation with one of your tenants who for some reason or another caused some sort of nuisance to your investment, today is a different kettle of fish altogether.

Fear and uncertainty is still lingering in the minds of landlords to a certain extent however people are quickly learning that the CONTRACT OF LEASE is your 'bible',  so to speak when it comes to being able to operate a legitimate business from property rentals without having any more sleepless nights.

We at Homes & Co. Malta are pioneering a Property Management system where YOU the LANDLORD can realise a minimum of 20% MORE MONEY from your investment (your home).
